5SOS Sounds Live Feels Live Concert

5sos slfl

Yep, another concert post!

On Monday night I went to see 5SOS (5 Seconds of Summer) in the SSE arena as part of their UK tour. 5SOS are another of my favourite bands, so I was extremely excited to hear them perform and they didn't disappoint!

The show opened with the support act Jessarae, an American singer who I had never heard of before, but his music sounded really good! Then the support act Don Broco performed. I hadn't listened to any of their songs before, but after hearing them live, I would definitely listen to their music.

Then 5SOS came on stage (looking as good as usual). The songs they performed were a mixture of their singles, songs from their new album and some from their first album. The show opened with them performing the song 'Carry On' from their new album, with Michael playing the piano(!!). They then played their single 'Hey Everybody' and 'Money'. They also played more of their songs such as 'Voodoo Doll', 'Jet Black Heart' and one of my favourite songs from their new album, 'Catch Fire'.

Michael treated us to a song that they made up especially for the Belfast show called 'Belfast and Furious' which was quite funny. We were also treated to an AMAZING cover of Snow Patrol's song 'Chasing Cars'. I was so happy when Luke started to sing it as I'd said on the way to the show that I would love it if they covered Snow Patrol! And they did! If you haven't seen a video of this performance, watch it. You won't regret it. It was perfection.

They also performed their single 'Amnesia'. When they got everyone to sing the lyrics back to them the expressions of Calum and Luke were adorable! They were smiling as the crowd sang every single lyric back to them and they just seemed so proud.

I had an incredible night at the concert! 5SOS sound incredible live. This concert was actually the first concert that I've just taken in and enjoyed, rather than taking hundreds of photos (not even an exaggeration) and videos. I did take a few, but nowhere near as many as usual. I'll definitely be buying tickets to their next show in Belfast!

Have you been to any of the Sounds Live Feels live shows or are you going to any?

Wanderlust: 5 More Places I Want To Visit

A while ago, I wrote this post about 5 places that I want to visit. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to travel to any of them so far, but my never-ending list keeps growing and the wanderlust has hit me like a brick recently, so I thought I'd share 5 more places that I'd like to visit, with you.

Santorini, Greece
I'm in love with the beautiful white-washed buildings that are one of the main characteristics of Santorini. I always end up staring at pictures on google of the buildings, the alleys and the ocean. Does it not look like the ideal holiday destination?

Amsterdam, The Netherlands
Amsterdam is a place I'd love to travel to in the Autumn - how pretty does it look in the picture below? It seems so picturesque! I'd also love to learn more about the history of Amsterdam and visit museums such as the the Anne Frank house.

London, England
I've been wanting to go to London for a while now, and I may have spent quite a bit of time online earlier today pricing it... I'd love to go on the London eye, visit the tower of London and, of course, go shopping on Oxford Street!

Barcelona, Spain
I love Spain and I'd love to visit a city in Spain that I've never been to before. My Spanish teacher has recently recommended Barcelona. It looks like a lovely city, and it's also an opportunity for me to put six years of Spanish lessons to use!

Puglia, Italy
To be honest, I've only wanted to travel to Puglia after watching the film 'Walking on Sunshine'. It looked absolutely beautiful in the film with the sun, sea and sand. I've also seen online that you can dine in a cave (?!) which seems like it would be a great experience!

Where would you like to travel to?

The Liebster Award

I've been kindly nominated by Lubna and also by Caitlin to do the Liebster Award. Thank you both. You should definitely check out these two blogs! I decided to just answer all of their questions in one post rather than doing two, so here goes.

The rules for the Liebster Award are:
1. You have to mention and thank the blog that nominated you in a blog post.
2. You then have to answer the questions which were asked by the blogger who nominated you.
3. Then it's your turn to nominate 11 other new bloggers.
4. You lastly have to set 11 new questions for your nominees to answer.

Lubna's Questions:

1. What/Whom inspired you to become a blogger ?
Bloggers such as Zoe Sugg and Tanya Burr initially inspired me to become a blogger. I love reading their blogs, so I decided to just go for it and start my own!

2. Name your favourite country.
I'm not sure that I have a favourite country...but I really love travelling to Spain and learning about it's culture.

3. Name one thing you would like to change in the world?
I would love for the world to be peaceful. I hate violence and war. I just wish everyone could live amongst each other in peace.

4. Name you favourite animal?
I have a few favourite animals...I love dogs, monkeys, giraffes and elephants.

5. Who is your favourite singer/artist?
My favourite singer is Adele. Her voice is incredible!

6. Describe yourself in one word.
Weird. Life's a lot more interesting when you're weird haha!

7. What is your ultimate goal in life?
My ultimate goal in life would be to be happily married with a beautiful family. Honestly, I would value that above success, wealth and anything else.

8. Who is your role model ?
My role model is my mother. She's a strong woman who puts others before herself. She's caring, confident and not afraid to speak her mind.

9. What do you do to de-stress?
I put my earphones in, turn the volume up and block everything else out with the music.

10. Describe the life of a blogger in 3 words.
creative, busy, fun.

11. State a quirky fact about yourself.
I don't know if this is considered quirky, but I'm pretty good at doing different accents.

Caitlin's Questions:

1. What keeps you motivated to blog?
People who read and comment on my blog keep me motivated, because it makes me think that there are actually those out there who want to read what I write.

2. What do you think is the hardest thing about blogging?
For me, the hardest thing about blogging is posting on a regular basis. With school and exams coming up, it's hard to get time to write, take pictures and upload a post.

3. What is your favourite thing about blogging?
I love how supportive the blogging community is. Anyone that I've encountered through blogging has always been lovely and comments from others are always really nice as well!

4. What is your favourite book?
I couldn't possibly choose a favourite book!

5. What is your favourite restaurant?
My favourite restaurant is Chiquito. It's a Mexican restaurant and I love Mexican food, especially fajitas. They also have really nice cocktails...

6. Milkshakes, cold coffee or smoothies?
Milkshakes! I love a nice cold strawberry milkshake on a warm day.

7. What is your favourite season and why?
My favourite season is definitely Autumn! I love how the leaves change colour, and I prefer Autumn clothes to Summer-y clothes.

8. What is/was your favourite subject in school?
This is quite hard as I really like all of the subjects that I'm doing for A-Level, otherwise I wouldn't have chosen them, but if I had to pick a favourite I would say English Literature. I love reading and writing, so this subject is the perfect mix of two of my favourite things. In my four years of doing this subject I've loved all of the novels that I've studied, and I find there's nothing more pleasing than knowing I've written an essay with a really in-depth analysis. That makes me sound so sad...

9. What languages can you speak?
I can speak English (obviously) and Spanish, as I study it at school. I used to study French but I can only remember a little bit of it. I really love learning languages though and definitely want to learn more!

10. What is your favourite blog post that you have written?
Hmm...this is a tough one! I think it would probably be my most recent post on The Vamps concert, purely because I had such an amazing time at the concert and I love looking back at all of the pictures.

11. If you could be any animal for a day what would you be?
I would say a bird, even though I'm not the biggest fan of birds, because I could fly anywhere that I wanted.

My Questions:

1. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
2. What is your favourite song?
3. What is your favourite blog?
4. Do you have any nicknames?
5. What is the best piece of advice you have ever received?
6. What's your favourite quote?
7. Who is your favourite literary character?
8. If you could spend the day with any celebrity, who would it be?
9. TV shows or films?
10. What was your dream job when you were younger?
11. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

March Favourites & 200 Followers!

bBold Fake Tan
If you've read my formal GRWM, then you'll know that this is the fake tan that I wore. This is a really natural looking tan that goes on easily. I've been loving the colour of it so much that I've been reapplying it, and I'll definitely be buying this in place of my usual fake tan in the future.

Tanya Burr Lip Gloss in Afternoon Tea
This is the first Tanya Burr lipgloss that I've tried and I love it! The formula isn't overly sticky and I love the pink-y nude colour of this particular shade. I found it really moisturising on my lips and it smells really nice too.  It also has the cutest name!

Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate Nude Lipstick in the Shade 45
This is a gorgeous rose nude that, for me, is the perfect 'your lips but better' colour. I was so happy to find this lipstick as I could never find a nude lipstick that didn't look as though I had concealer lips. I've been wearing it so much recently. I wore it to my formal and also to The Vamps concert. It does last on my lips for quite a long time, but I wouldn't say it lasts for 8 hours like it claims to...Regardless, I still love it!

Miss Sporty Perfect Stay 10 Hour Concealer
After seeing this concealer being advertised by the likes of Lucy and Lydia, and Gabbie on Youtube,  I obviously wanted to see what all of the hype was about. To be honest, I didn't expect to like this as much as I did. It's really creamy, so it's perfect for under my eyes and I found that the shade 'light' was really good for highlighting as well!

Soap & Glory Kick Ass Just Bright Concealer
Yes, another concealer. I've been using quite a few different ones this month. This is a purple concealer which is supposed to cover dark circles and brighten eyes. I've been using this under the Miss Sporty concealer and it works wonders! On days that I don't wear this concealer, I definitely notice the difference as I look a lot more tired with the bags under my eyes (yay for A Levels causing late nights!).

Fuller House
At first I was kind of sceptical of this TV show because, let's face it, remakes are hardly ever as good as the original shows. I loved watching the original series (reruns, obviously, because I'm not old enough) and didn't think this would live up to it. I was wrong - I loved it! I loved how it had flashbacks to Full House, and Uncle Jesse returned for a few episodes as well!

AAAH! I can now say that my blog has reached (and passed) 200 followers on bloglovin! That is absolutely crazy! Thank you all so much! To some people, 200 followers may seem like hardly any in comparison to bloggers with tens of thousands of followers, but it makes me incredibly happy to know that there are so many people that want to read my blog. When I first began blogging, nearly a year ago now, I had no idea that 20 people would want to read my blog, let alone 200! I really wish that I could do a giveaway to celebrate this and thank you all, but sadly I'm a poor student. I hope to do one in the near future though, so look out for that.

Once again thank you so much!

What were you loving throughout March?
