Last Monday night was incredible.
I went with my cousin to see one of our favourite bands, The Vamps, perform live at the odyssey arena at their first ever arena tour. I think one little girls reaction that I overheard pretty much summed up everyone's thoughts: "I'm so excited I think I'm gonna have a heart attack!" So cute.
The Tide opened the concert, playing a cover of animal by Neon Trees and some of their original songs! They sound amazing live and they had everyone in the arena up on their feet, dancing and singing along. I've been singing their songs all week and I think they're definitely another band to add to my very long list of favourite bands.
Union J also performed some of their songs like 'Tonight (we live forever)' and 'You Got It All' along with their acoustic version of 'Carry You' which sounded so beautiful.
By the time The Vamps came onstage everyone - including myself -was buzzing! They sang some of my favourite songs, and Brad singing 'Another World' while playing the piano sounded perfect! They threw in a few unexpected surprises here and there as well. The whole atmosphere was great and all of the bands sounded great too! The Vamps always sound amazing but, personally, I think they sound way better live.
By the end of the night I had a sore throat from all the singing (and screaming), but it was definitely worth it! I've been supporting the band since their days of YouTube covers and it's amazing to see how far they've come!
